German Classes
We’ve created programs to help children of different ages and abilities feel comfortable and enjoy the best way to learn.
Preschool
We encourage learning through play. Studies show children gain a more holistic concept of learning through positive interactive experience. We ensure the children are social and having fun listening to stories, singing songs, playing games, role playing, and being creative, all in the language they’re learning. They will get a feel for the German language and create a foundation of vocabulary as well as extend their vocabulary depending on ability.
Time: Morning Classes
Classes are 1 hour
Kindergarten/Grade 1
Our holistic approach to learning ensures that children are enjoying their time practicing their German language skills. We encourage socializing and role play as they develop their phonological awareness of syllables, rhymes, letters and sounds, analysis of words, spelling, writing and reading. They will build a grasp of the German language and extend their vocabulary depending on ability.
Time: Monday or Wednesday, 3:45pm or 5:00pm
Classes are 1 hour
Elementary
Children will enjoy a comfortable and positive environment to interact and develop their language confidence. Learning is based on a holistic approach with focus on areas for practice. While having fun with the first rules of German grammar, they will extend their reading and writing skills and become more fluent.
Time: Monday or Wednesday, 3:45pm or 5:00pm
Classes are 1 hour
